The Devil & Daisy Dirt: A Garden State Gothic, Alt Folk eVent

We are excited to present The Devil & Daisy Dirt, a bluegrass tall tale about the Jersey Devil in the soaring loft of our historic dairy barn. Alex Dawson is a professor at Rutgers University where he teaches creative writing courses. He wrote this hour-long bluegrass tale about the Jersey Devil with live music and a seven-foot wearable puppet costume. In 2024 they ran a sold-out fifteen-show tour in NY/NJ at bars, barns, breweries and a four night showcase at a Manhattan theater. See the show April 12 & 13, 2025. Learn More >

We aim to engage those with disabilities, their families, caregivers, veterans’ groups, assisted living organizations, advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, state, and local officials, and agencies in a public discourse that identifies public interest, concerns, and ideas, and join their voices for improving access to natural places.
