Juried Pinelands Photo Exhibit

PPA sponsors an annual juried photographic exhibition, featuring images of the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve depicting its landscape, flora, wildlife, communities and people. The next exhibit will be held in March 2021. Learn more >

Life Science Field Training Institute

PPA sponsors an annual multi-day field science experience for educators in June to strengthen field-based investigations in their teaching and improve student performance. This year’s institute takes place online June 22-25. Learn more >

Spring Native Plant Sale

We are holding an online native plant sale from May 5 to May 11. A portion of the proceeds from the sale benefits our work. A link and a code to order will be listed on our plant sale web page. Learn more >

Green Trading Post

Organized as a traditional holiday bazaar, the Green Trading Post, offers merchandise and memberships from local non-profit environmental, cultural or historical organizations. The event takes place the first weekend in December at PPA. Use your “greens” for good and for gifts this holiday season. Learn more >

Make a Wreath

Sign up to make a wreath using some greens and trim collected from the Pinelands. This free, kid-friendly event takes place at our offices on December 14th. Registration is required because supplies are limited. Learn more >

Fall Native Plant Sale

Fall is a great time to plant new shrubs and trees. Held in September. Check back for dates in 2020. Plants native to the Pine Barrens and South Jersey will be for sale. Learn more >

Tour de Pines

The Tour de Pines celebrates Pinelands Month in October with five consecutive single-day bicycle tours of the New Jersey Pinelands. Proceeds benefit the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. There is no other bike ride like this in New Jersey! Learn More >
