Volunteers have help pick up tons of trash, tires and debris illegally dumped on public and private land in the Pinelands.

Special Events and Projects: Volunteers are critical to the success of our special events and projects, such as the Tour de Pines bike event each fall and our Native Plant Sales in the spring and fall. Contact Mike Pippin, Volunteer Manager, at 609-859-8860 ext 115 or [email protected] if this kind of activity looks good to you.

Office Projects: Volunteers help us with activities such as mailings, research, manning the Pinelands Visitors Center, and so on. Schedules are flexible, and we would provide any preliminary education or training you might need. Contact Mike Pippin, Volunteer Manager, at 609-859-8860 ext 115 or [email protected] if this kind of activity looks good to you.

Farmstead Projects: Our offices are located on a historic farmstead in Southampton, NJ. There is a colonial brick farmhouse, carriage house, large renovated barn and other outbuildings. There are several gardens and a native grassland on the property. Farmstead volunteers engage in the physical work that must be done to keep the property in shape. Work is primarily done spring, summer and fall. Contact Mike Pippin, Volunteer Manager, at 609-859-8860 ext 115 or [email protected] if this kind of activity looks good to you.

Fairs and Festivals: Volunteers staff our table at the many fairs and festivals where we go to meet people, distribute literature, and get folks interested in the Pinelands. We provide the necessary training and can team you with experienced staff or volunteers.
