Description:

Salt tolerant, medium size, rounded shrub of the outer coastal plain. Attractive white flowers; its fruit is prized for making jams. To 6 feet tall. Flowers late April to May. Fruits early September to October. Grows in moist or dry sandy conditions and likes sun.
