July Webinars:

Plastic in the Pines: The Case Against Artificial Turf in South Jersey
July 23rd, 12:00 – 1:00 PM

Artificial turf may look green, but it’s actually a costly, plastic-laden threat to our health, environment, and budgets. In honor of Plastic-Free July, join Pinelands Preservation Alliance for a webinar on July 23 at 12 PM to learn why we are saying ‘No’ to artificial turf. In this webinar, we’ll uncover the hidden dangers of synthetic sports fields, ranging from microplastic pollution to soaring surface temperatures and long-term waste. Learn why properly managed natural grass is the safer, more sustainable choice—and how your community can push for a return to real grass fields.
