Description:
Stiff stalked Asteraceae family member. Stem has many narrow, pointed leaves. Flowers are colorful, ranging from dark lavender to pink to white. Centers are yellow. Bloom in late summer and early fall. Found in upland pine woods in acidic, well drained soil.
