Description:
Leaves of this shrub occur in pairs or threes and are oval or narrower. Tip is pointed but base is rounded. Flowers are white to light pink and appear from late spring through late summer. Fruit matures in late summer. Plant prefers wet soils and attracts bees, butterflies, and birds.
