Trips for Schools and Service Organizations with Pinelands Adventures
Pinelands Adventures offers its Pine Barrens Discovery Tours for schools and community service organizations. All programs are led by skilled educator naturalists. These programs are designed to be fun, to give youngsters new competencies and confidence being in natural places, and to serve the needs of each school and service organization.
The precise activities will be designed in cooperation with each group’s leaders and may depend on weather and water conditions prevailing at the time. Program locations vary depending on a variety of factors including the size of your group. Most trips start from Pinelands Adventures or take place at Atsion Recreation Area, both in Shamong, NJ.
Pinelands Adventures staff has experience working with teachers to design alternative programs for children with learning or physical disabilities.
