YOUR HOSTS
The Pinelands Preservation Alliance (PPA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1989 to protect New Jersey’s Pineland National Reserve so all people can enjoy the benefits of open space, fresh air and clean water.
In addition to our advocacy work, the Alliance operates Roots to Prevention (RTP), a cross-sectoral collaboration aimed at reducing upstream causes of diet-related illnesses by promoting hyper-local, healthy food economies in underserved urban communities.
RTP attributes its positive impacts to the support of its food hub at PPA’s Rancocas Creek Farm (RCF). This regenerative, chemical-free farm is aggregating produce grown from farmers working in urban communities to sell to institutional buyers like Virtua Health and Cooper University Health. RCF is devoted to caring for nature and feeding our community with healthy, sustainably grown food. RCF also operates a CSA providing fresh, chemical-free produce to shareholders, sells to local restaurants, and donates food to those in need.

Jeffrey A. Miller Catering is the exclusive caterer for events at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. Their catered events at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, and at other venues in the region, promote sustainability, generate revenue, and raise awareness for our mission-driven organization. They endeavor to promote sustainability through their operation.
