Top Environmental Issues in the New Jersey Governor’s Election
Learn more about the importance of this year’s election for governor in New Jersey and how it could impact the environment in New Jersey and the Pinelands.  Speakers include former Mayor of West Cape May and Pinelands Commissioner, Robert Jackson; Director of Watershed Programs for the Pinelands Alliance, Stephen Elliott; and Director of Government Relations for the Pinelands Action Campaign, Michael Klein.

Since the State Assembly has yet to hold a hearing on the proposed New Jersey Green Amendment, we’re creating space for the voices that matter most…yours. Join us for the People’s Hearing, a public forum where residents can share their stories, concerns, and hopes for a cleaner, healthier, and more just environment.

Whether you’ve felt the impacts of pollution, cherish a local park or waterway, or simply believe every New Jerseyan deserves the right to clean air and water, this is your chance to speak up and be heard.Share your connection to the environment and why you support the Green Amendment.


November 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM: Sustainable Agriculture
New Jersey is known as the Garden State, but has been losing farmland to developments of homes and warehouses. Pinelands Alliance has been working to preserve New Jersey’s farming legacy and make it greener. The Alliance created the Rancocas Creek Farm, which uses regenerative farming practices to improve the environment while increasing access to fresh local vegetables.
