Volunteers Needed – Tree Mulching

Help the trees and shrubs we planted at our Rancocas Creek Farm thrive by mulching them with pizza boxes and woodchips. The plants help manage stormwater, reduce erosion, and reduce flooding in Vincentown and the Rancocas Creek. They will provide long-term benefits to the farm by providing shade, windbreak and pollinator habitat. The pizza boxes suppress weeds and add soil carbon while reducing our waste stream. Lunch will be provided. Participation is limited to 25 so registration is required. Masks must be worn when within 10 feet of others not in your household.
