Volunteer Day at Rancocas Creek Farm – Plant Native Trees & Shrubs!

The Pinelands Preservation Alliance received a grant from the Roots for Rivers Program in 2020 allowing us to plant nearly 1,200 native trees and shrubs at our Rancocas Creek Farm. These plants help reduce flooding off our property and they provide shade, windbreak, and friendly pollinator habitat.
To help these plants thrive we are laying down pizza boxes to suppress weeds and then we will mulch woodchips on top of them. A bathroom will be available in the PPA barn. Tools will be provided, but please bring your own gloves, shovel, and/or pitchfork if you can. Make sure to dress warmly and bring a water bottle. Lunch will be provided (FREE Pizza)!
You must wear a mask over your nose and mouth when within six feet of others not in your household.
