“Vigilance-The Life of William Still, Father of the Underground Railroad” by Andrew K. Diemer (Book Signing)

Come meet Andrew K. Diemer, historian and author of the recently released book named Vigilance: The Life of William Still, Father of the Underground Railroad. This book focuses on the life of William Still, Dr. James Still’s youngest brother, who was an abolitionist, activist, entrepreneur and philanthropist.  William dedicated his life to managing a critical section of the Underground Railroad in Philadelphia—the free state directly north of the Mason-Dixon Line—helping hundreds of people escape from slavery.

The book signing event is on February 4th at 1 PM at the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown and is free to the public. Sign up for the event here.
