This is a family-friendly event to raise funds for Whitesbog Preservation Trust’s (a nonprofit) work in preserving the historic village. All of the helpers are volunteers and love sharing the spooky and creepy Historic Village with others!
Choose your Adventure! Do one, two or all three activities for the same price! Check in at the General Store to get your hand stamped, then head to the area you want to try first! Activities are Haunted Lantern Tour, Scary Stories and Music around the Campfire, and Haunted Wagon Ride. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Whitesbog Preservation Trust.
Historic Whitesbog Village is located in Brendan Byrne State Forest. Whitesbog was the largest cranberry farm in New Jersey in the early 1900’s and is also the place where the highbush blueberry was first successfully cultivated.
The Whitesbog Preservation Trust leases Whitesbog Village from the State of New Jersey in an innovative partnership agreement that supports the Trust’s mission to restore, protect and enhance the land, historic sites and buildings and to provide educational materials and interpretive programs about the history, culture and natural environment of Whitesbog.
