Come explore the village and the bogs by moon light. An experienced guide will share insights about Whitesbog and the nature that surrounds us. Meet your guide in the General Store before the start time. All walks are 3-5 miles in length. Dress is weather appropriate, the walk is $5/person

Historic Whitesbog Village is located in Brendan Byrne State Forest.  Whitesbog was the largest cranberry farm in New Jersey in the early 1900’s and is also the place where the highbush blueberry was first successfully cultivated.

The Whitesbog Preservation Trust leases Whitesbog Village from the State of New Jersey in an innovative partnership agreement that supports the Trust’s mission to restore, protect and enhance the land, historic sites and buildings and to provide educational materials and interpretive programs about the history, culture and natural environment of Whitesbog.
