Last year we participated in a pilot project with Stockton University that is encouraging maple syrup production in the Garden State. We’ll be tapping trees on the farm again this winter (Red, Silver and Norway Maples…we don’t have any mature Sugar Maples) and we’d like to invite you to a workshop to show you what the program is all about.
Join Naturalist Samantha Steele from the Stockton Maple Project and the Rancocas Creek Farm staff to learn how to tap maple trees, collect the sap, and boil it down to syrup. We will visit our tapped trees, demonstrate how to install a tap and we’ll be boiling down some sap as well in our wood fired burner! Come on out, bring your questions and learn how you can get involved.
There is a $10 fee per registrant. Dress to be outside! Questions? Email Alex Robb, at email@example.com
