Land Navigation Workshop – Whitesbog Preserve
May 25 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Let’s face it, we all get a little lost from time to time.
With a little practice and a little help from Grizzly & Co., we can get lost a little less! This course provides all the basics of orienteering and land navigation…basically, how to read a map and use a compass.
We spend some time really looking into how a map works and how to use it to read the landscape. We’ll learn how compasses work and how to apply them to our map to find our way. We’ll learn to count paces, take bearings, and many other tricks of the trade.
This event is hosted by Whitesbog Perseveration Trust.
Cost: $35 (not refundable)
