Knot Tying for Novices – Online Adventure

In order to continue operations during this time, Pinelands Adventures has developed a series of Online Adventures to bring New Jersey’s Pine Barrens to you with their most popular programs! These interactive programs last about an hour each. You’ll need to be ready to learn and have fun with a good internet connection.
Knot tying is a fundamental skill that anyone headed outdoors should possess. From setting up your shelter to securing your gear, it is an extremely valuable skill. Free program!
Come hangout with Pinelands Adventures as we go over some of the basic knots that you can use in the wilderness. With step by step instruction and practical uses for each knot, you can’t miss out on this opportunity. The skills you will learn here can be practiced literally anywhere.
What you’ll learn:
- Basic knots helpful for use in the wilderness
- Practical applications for each knot
- Requirements: A 2-3 foot rope to follow along at home
