To raise awareness about the Black Run Preserve (BRP) and have fun, there will be a Poker Run on April 2nd. The event will start at Rice Elementary (where PPA helped install a rain garden) in King’s Grant and will continue through BRP.
This is not a race. Participants run, walk or bike a specific route to and through the BRP. Participants stop at five checkpoints along the route to claim a playing card; assembling a five-card poker hand which will determine prize eligibility
PPA will have a table at the Rice Elementary staging location. (April 2nd 8-12pm) with a rain date of April 9th. Ben Crooke, Rancocas Creek Watershed Ambassador/AmeriCorps Volunteer, will staff the table for PPA. Come say “hello”!
