During the 1960s, the Back to Nature Movement urged Americans to experience our national and state parks. Local conservationists planned and constructed the Batona Trail, a fifty-four mile hiking trail in the Pine Barrens. Join Naturalist, John Volpa, as we explore a beautiful section, which include a variety of wetlands and uplands. We’ll keep a moderate pace between frequent stops for stories and exploration of Pine Barrens flora and fauna. Cost is $45 per person. Ages 16 & up.
