New Jersey Natural Lands Trust

The Trust seeks Volunteer Property Monitors at South Jersey nature preserves within and outside of the Pinelands. Counties include Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem. Property monitors are our "eyes" on the preserve. They make sure that all is well. Monitors are not involved in enforcement. To become a monitor you would have to meet with the volunteer coordinator at the preserve for an initial orientation, then the monitoring 3-4 times a year (or more if you choose) is on your own schedule. Great for volunteers with limited time. The Trust also holds several volunteer workdays to clean up preserves in the spring or fall. For more information, contact Trust Volunteer Coordinator Martha Windisch at 609-292-3661.
