Pinelands Environments

The Pinelands region is formed by a beautifully complex and fragile environment.  Geographically , it is divided into either Lowland  or  Upland  areas. The Lowlands are made up of  Meadowlands, Rivers and  Streams, and  Swamps. The Upland areas are primarily  made up of  Woodlands and Agricultural lands.

A variety of amphibians and reptiles, birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals, and plants inhabit the Lowland and Uplands of the Pinelands.
